What is a Chamber of Commerce & why is it important to your business?
The West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit association of business people, professionals, and community groups who have joined to promote trade and commerce, as well as the economic, civil and social welfare of our community.
The Chamber of Commerce provides leadership for sound legislation and effective representation at the Municipal, Provincial and Federal levels of government.
The West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce also offers the highest profile for your organization in our community where business people can work together and network with members of other businesses.
The Chamber is a proud part of our community and works hard to make West Lincoln a better place to live, work and play. By being a member of the chamber, you give support to our programs and play an important part in the Township’s development. It is our job to protect your interests and provide a united voice within the township.
Who can be a member of West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce?
As noted in our By-Laws & Constitution,
Section 9: Any reputable person directly or indirectly, engaged or interested in a trade, commerce or the economic and social welfare of the District, shall be eligible for membership in the Chamber.
Section 10: Associations, corporations, societies, partnership, or estates directly or indirectly engaged or interested in a trade, commerce or the economic and social welfare of the District may become members of the Chamber.
